Nikko is a place of mountains practice from ancient times. Tokugawa Ieyasu left the
dying words that his graveyard is the place for the north directions of Edo.
Toshogu was built after Ieyasu's death was repaired by Iemitsu who is a Shogun of the third generation.
Over 500 sculpture is made to Yomei-mon gate.
